I want to make others people lives more joyful. Therefore, I want to share to you some words/phrases to replace with in order to make it sound not so bad. Do not worry, I am not trying to deceive you, just trying to keep that smile on your face.
1. Replace "Forever Alone" with "Forever Available"
Once we think about it, we are not forever alone, since we are always surrounded by people. I get the phrase, "I am lonely in a crowded room," but we have people around us. Alone and being lonely are two different things. Therefore, you are always available to talk to someone when you are alone.
2. Replace "Funeral" with "Memorial"
I think funerals are just for a way for people's emotions to get out of wack and blow out of proportion, since they are mourning over someone's death. A memorial is different because they celebrate the person's life and her or his legacy. Memorials are always better in my opinion.
3. Replace "Death" with "End of Journey"
Death sounds too harsh, especially when used in a sentence on its own. However, when people say end of journey, it kind of makes everything better, since the life is over, but not the people.
4. Replace "Problem" with "Inferior Complex"
When I hear problem, it sounds as though it will never be solved, but inferior complex sounds like something you can break down and make better.
5. Replace "Global Warming" with "Extreme Weather"
Global warming causes extreme weather. If we think that it will not become, it will not, at least in my mind.
6. Replace "Breakup" with "Good Riddance"
Even though breakups are tough, it is good that they happen because it allows people to be with the right person. It is good that the person is out of your life so that you can have someone else better.
7. Replace "Mistakes" with "Experience"
Imagine a world in which we will never make a mistake, we will never grow. We will never evolve and stay the same forever. However, mistakes give us experience, so thank your mistakes because they are blessings in disguise.

Favorite and Most Hated Vacations
Many of us have went on a vacation where we felt happy, and others, well, not so happy. Whenever I go on any vacation, it eithers ends up in turmoil or it ends up feeling like paradise. So, I wanted to share to you my favorite and most hated vacations.
Favorite Vacations
1. Chicago
I went with my mother, sister, and my mother's boyfriend, and we stayed at this lovely hotel, Hotel 71, which has the best macroni and cheese and is located at the south side of Chicago. I just wanted to say how much fun I had in Chicago, and was defintely the best place to go. Good food, good people, good pier, and everything was so carefree and not rushed.
2. Paris
I went to Paris with my grandmother, and to this date, it is one of my favorite vacations. We stayed at my cousins nice little cottage, and he had an array of glass ornaments, which were beautiful. I remembered going to this home with the best people and met a girl who liked my kitty leggings and popped the heads off of Barbies too. Yeah, and they also had the best milk. It was creamy, but I was sick for a while there. Nonetheless, Paris was beautiful.
3. Destin
I went to Destin with my sister, my two cousins, and my aunt and uncle through a car ride. We stayed in this lovely apartment which had a room for the kids with bunkbeds. I remembered going to the beach everyday and learned how to bodysurf there. The hardest decision to make was how to cook the fish or should we go bodysurfing or fishing.
Most Hated Vacations
1. Toronto
I love Canadians, pountin, and Sauble Beach, but I disliked my experiences. Why? It was hard for me since I was at the age of coming of age, and I was pretty much the adults nonpaid babysitter. Let me tell you, I had to sleep in the living room, with no privacy and this lady kept waking me up at 7:00 a.m., which got on my nerves because I was on vacation. Probably one of my only good memories was Sauble Beach.
2. L.A.
Before you start bashing me, hear me out. I love Orange County, and everything about that place, but I do not like L.A. There are too many people in a rush and the traffic is horrible. Trust me, I was mistaken to be old enough to sit at a bar, and I am in high school. Yeah, L.A., not the city for me.
3. Colorado
Colorado is the opposite of what I believe of paradise. It is cold and landlocked, pretty much a nightmare for me, and also, on the mountains, this dude kept yelling at me. Crazy, I know. So yeah, the only good memory for me was that I got to color snow and the dude fell. Yeah, I got the last laugh.
So these are my favorite and most hated vacations. No, I do not hate anyone in these particular cities, but I just hated my experiences. I hated the way I spent these cities, and someday, I will do them justice.

Favorite And Most Hated Movies
Have you ever notice that some movies are either very well done and others are just terrible? I hope I am not the only person who believes because if I am, I should just go on to another planet :). Do you want to come with? I like company, and you seem like great company. But, here are my favorite and most hated movies. And to be socially correct, please do not take any offense to this because I am very outspoken.
Favorite Movies
1. Full Metal Jacket
In my opinion, the Vietnam War is probably the most interesting time period other than World War II and the 90s and what better way to express the times of the war and the 70s through this movie. It is so well done and well directed and well acted that I cannot take my eyes off. Definitely a winner for sure.
Recommendation of method of watching: Grab your favorite snack and watch in either your bedroom, living room, anywhere you are most comfortable.
2. The Reader
Ralph Fiennes and Kate Winslet are geniuses in this film. Again, the movie is set during wartime, particularly World War II and the Holocaust. It expresses the past and the later past if that makes any type of sense.
Recommendation of method of watching: Be comfortable and try not to drink anything or you might get a spit take.
3. The Yellow Handkerchief
Eddie Redmayne, Maria Bello, William Hurt, and Kristen Stewart make a great onscreen group. Although I do not like to watch anything Twilight, Kristen Stewart was not terrible nor amazing to watch, but I could not picture anyone portraying her character better. William Hurt did an amazing job, and Maria Bello was great. Eddie Redmayne's character was odd, but he portrayed it well. I love the movie because of its simplicity.
Recommendation of method of watching: During a long car ride when everyone else is asleep
Most Hated Movies
1. Madagascar 3 in 3-D
Most of the time in this movie, my eyes were hurting and headaches were coming because of the 3-D movie. For one, I hate 3-D movies. And second, this movie had such a terrible plot line that was distracted by the unneeded "humor" of the film, which consisted of a polka dotted zebra, terrible dance and song numbers, and animated animals. I swear, I hated the film, and only two drunken guys ended up laughing. I wanted to leave.
2. Spy Kids 4 in 4-D
Again, it was terribly done. The directing, the angles, I sound too judgmental about it, but I ended up sleeping the entire time.

Favorite Foods and Hated Foods
The theme of this post is food. Here, I will list 5 of my favorite food and why and 5 of my most hated foods and why.
Favorite Foods:
1. Samoas a.k.a. Caramel Delights Cookies by Girls Scouts
These cookies are hands down my favorite cookies of all time. They are chewy, sweet, nutty, but not overdone in anyway. I kid you not I finished a box of these of a course of 4 days.
Recommendation of method of eating: Straight out of the box with a glass of chocolate milk
2. Chocolate Mint Ice Cream
I love anything that is refreshing and this ice cream does it for me. I was always a fanatic of mint and chocolate together, and in ice cream form, irresistible.
Recommendation of method of eating: On a hot day, out of a waffle ice cream cone, not cup.
3. Hotel 71 Mac and Cheese
I always loved Mac and Cheese, but this dish gets me in the gut. I love this, and if you ever in the south part of Chicago, you have to get it. Not only is the Mac and Cheese so delicious, but they top it off with Serrano ham. Tell me, how is this legal?
Recommendation of method of eating: In the hotel restaurant, bring a friend, have them order fish and chips, and share amongst yourselves.
4. Black Coffee
In my mind, there is nothing better than the scent of coffee. I drink it so often that I think I grew a tolerance over the caffeine. It does not give me that buzz or anything, but tastes amazing. It is almost like drugs to me. I do not know how it is legal. I can buy it, make it, and drink it.
Recommendation of method of drinking: Dark Roast, no cream, no sugar
5. Arnold Palmer
No, not the golfer, the half ice tea and half lemonade. Just buy brewed tea (no sugar), make your own lemonade (however tart and sweet you want), and put equal parts of each, and enjoy. :) It combines two of my favorite things, so yum.
Recommendation of method of drinking: Any hot day :)
Hated Foods:
1. Mushrooms
They look like aliens and taste like meaty jello to me and is chewy. No offense to any fungi lovers. I am not here to judge :).
2. Banh Mi
I am talking Vietnamese sandwiches. I do not know why but I hate these things. It is just a French baguette with fresh veggies and good meat, but I just do not like it.
3. Pop/Soda
It is bitter and feels tough on my tongue and feels like it is eroding away.
4. Apple Pie
I actually do not have a good excuse for this one. I just do not like it.
5. Cow's Milk
Again, no good excuse, just hate it.

Introducing Me
Hi everyone, how are you? So, this week is introducing yourself and saying five random facts. However, I am not going to use my real name in order to keep something to myself on the internet, but I will be completely honest on this blog about the qualities about myself, since not many people do that anymore. Without further a do, I will introduce myself.
Hi everyone, I write under my pseudonym, Violet Sar Bleu, and I am 15 years old and in high school and in year 10. I am from Texas, and I like to be in the ocean, dance, play the piano, and state my opinion. Hopefully, we can all have fun on this blog and say whatever we want, without offending or hurting one another, because I do not want to do anything to hurt you.
Random Facts:
1. I cannot ride a bike. I do not know why this is such a problem with me, but it is, and I am embaressed by it because I can never go on bike rides because of this. I can skateboard and rollerblade and rollerskate, but I cannot ride a bike.
2. I am a very socially awkward person. Social interactions are a nightmare to me, and sometimes, I just do not want to be in a conversation with someone because I am just lazy. It's pretty bad, but I am working on it.
3. I am afraid of being shocked my static electrictity. If you do not know what I mean, it is when people rub against either the floor with socks on or something and shock you. I do not know why I am so scared of something so harmless.
4. I am a total bookworm. I love books, and I sound like a total nerd about it, but I can talk about books for ages, and that is what I love to do.
5. I am a total night owl. At 3 or even 4 a.m. and you are sleeping inside your little bed, I am wide awake doing nothing. And then, sometimes, I do not even feel tired.
So yes, this blog can be pointless, meaningful, however we see it as, but I will like for you to say your 5 random facts about yourself in the comments below.
This blog will have a different theme every week, and I will try to post every week about that theme. If you have any ideas, just send them to my colleague's email lillianjuly24@aol.com, and I might do them.
With love,
Violet Sar Bleu
P.S. Please check out my other blog, Introducing Me, that blog is updated once every so often and it usually just has random posts about anything, so please check it out :).
